What is AgriSagana?

Cargill Philippines and ASSIST aims to empower Filipino farmers and help them thrive in the evolving socio-economic landscape of the country. The AgriSagana project, inspired by the term "Sagana" meaning "bountiful," focuses on providing abundant agricultural opportunities to corn farmers in Cagayan and Isabela. This project includes trainings and other capacity-building initiatives, infrastructure support for environmentally sustainable agricultural practices, and the development of an inclusive business process.

AIM 1

To equip farmers and cooperatives in the corn supply chain with effective agricultural techniques to increase agricultural productivity and improved standard of living.

AIM 2

To convert existing Post-Harvest Facilities (PHFs) into Eco-Smart PHFs to create a moresustainable and ecologically friendly corn supply chain.

AIM 3

To increase market access by managing and controlling crop quality in accordance with Cargill's specifications.
